I'm not and never have been a magazine editor, journalist or author and have no skills what-so-ever to write a blog.
I am however thirty-odd and a Mummy and my children are a subject I love and know A LOT about. I am also a frustrated writer that has never written, a traveller who has never travelled and a teacher (potential at least), who has never taught. I see a pattern emerging. Flaky, moi? So this is my attempt to be consistent at something, make time for myself and practise my writing in the hope that I will some how improve and become worthy and notable enough to become a published author:-). Failing that I'll settle for a record of our day and experiences together.
Since having children, I've also become fascinated with other people's experiences of pregnancy, labour & birth and so it is my aim to also include another page when the blog is up and running, to ask readers to contribute and have a 'birth story of the week' type page, if anyone reads it!
